Staff Events & Fundraisers 2018, 2019, 2020

Part of core team to organise annual staff celebratory events to commemorate and recognise colleagues and corporate milestones and fundraisers under our charity arm

1. Challenges:
   Lean team with almost everything in-sourced.

2. Learnings:
   Building strong relationships with core event helpers for the final push for perfection

3. Improvements:
   Nil as company budget doesn’t allow for external providers

4. Output:
   Coordination and backend work for event management. An enjoyable staff event that is within budget.

REACH Regional Conference 2018

Supporting a regional conference’s site setup and registration.

Skills: Event management | Resource management

1. Challenges:
   Lean team with almost everything in-sourced except for translators and AV equipment. Registration had to be manned by colleague volunteers.

2. Learnings:

   Crafting and maintaining an event schedule down to the segment to coordinate all the moving parts for the rehearsals and live event. Contingency planning, rehearsing and coordination with multiple stakeholders key to event success.

3. Improvements:

   To secure executive buy-in to pay for a payment gateway as bank transfers and reconciliation proved very costly in terms of time and accuracy.

4. Output:

   Coordination and backend work for event management.
